FFS what will convince you. If you’re unhappy with our lot at the minute, you maybe need to find yourself another hobby …….. or team.

We could actually win a match when we’ve played well and the odds are in our favour instead of shooting ourselves in the foot 🤷‍♂️

Try seeing the bigger picture. The football being played is like nothing I’ve watched from a Motherwell team for years. I actually looked forward to going to the game today and I can’t say I’ve had that feeling for a long time. Can’t legislate for a keeper dropping the ball at someone’s feet 3 yards from goal. Someone will get a “doing” shortly.

I honestly cannot be bothered with the constant miserable negativity.

Win lose or draw this is the most entertained I have ever been at Fir Park. Long may in continue, it’s unbelievably a good feeling going into games with this confidence. Every team we have played this season we have dominated for huge parts of the game.

Might not have fully clicked yet, but I’d much rather be watching this instead of the Ayrshire Kettleball.

You happy with zero wins in 4?

For context, I've been watching Motherwell for over 35 years and I've seen much worse starts to the season than this. We got a point against Rangers that wasn't expected. Some fans also didn't think we would get points against St Mirren

I actually feel right now that you can say nothing positive about the manager or the club - that's not a you you by the way - a general you

Am I happy with four points from four games - yes I am. Better than zero from four

If you been watching well for 35 years your not a wellgirl. More a well gran 🤨.  I do see positives. And I like manager. I just mainly think he needs new keeper or alternate strategy from playing out from back when we have goal kicks. Let defenders take them or get keeper that's comfortable with it. Or use sweeper system.

The keeper has to be involved in playing it out from the back, which is integral to how this team is set up. What's the alternative - launching it up to who?

Yes agree but need keeper that can do that. Today proved ward can't. He looks out his depth doing it. Never mind basic keeping skills.

I’m not a negative person and I am delighted with the way we are playing but it feels like we have lost games these past two weeks rather than remaining undefeated. I think it’s the manner in which we have dropped the points, through basic costly mistakes. I’m not suggesting we send Ward off to the salt Mines but it would not be unjust if JBA did drop him and try Ox. How many chances do you get?  It’s unfortunate but goalie mistakes are the most costly and you can’t afford to continue having them. Ward has probably made the least amount of mistakes out of all the players but it’s such a unique position and the consequences much more severe when a mistake is made. Likewise, if Ox plays he should have the same accountability.
Probably the fact that it’s cost us points 2 Weeks in a row amplifies the errors. Had they been, say 5 weeks apart, maybe there would be no talk of replacing him with Ox?

Since you criticise my spelling if Callum. Im quite right to criticise your alleged name. Given your age.

Oh really? Well I'll be avoiding you on here from now on. My alleged name? I've been on here 17 years. And you don't know my age.

I’m ok with his initial error in kicking the ball out. We know and expect that mistakes will be made from time to time like that. It’s the dropping an easy catch that got me.

Me too. I'm still at happy with us surrendering possession from a goal kick that led to goal and frustrated that all the good play was scuppered by that error. I'm annoyed also that he dropped ball.

He had nothing to do most game and couldn't deal with what was essentially his job to hold and judge a ball.

I thought he looked fine with it up until he gave away the shy that led to the goal, and that would have been forgotten about if they hadn't scored.

If Oxborough gets a chance, we'll see how he is with it, because the system won't change. Neither of them are the manager's signings, obviously, so he might well be looking for a new keeper long term.
