Stuwell2
The seven games to Christmas before back to back games against the arse cheek’s are Killie (A) Hibs (H) Hearts (H) Falkirk (A) Livingston (H) Dun Utd (A) Dundee (H) I’d like to think we can get 12 to 15 points from those fixtures but given that we’ve only managed 15 points in the first 11 games, am I being over optimistic? ropy
Given that my aim each year is a point a game then 15 points by now is a good return. If we can get the forward line working more efficiently then 12 points should easily be attainable. In saying that we are something like 4th or 5th highest scorers. Typically about 43 or 44, over the last ten years or so it has been as low as 40 and as high as 50.
Spiderpig
53 minutes ago, texanwellfan said: How’s many points do You normally need to make top 6 after 33 games? After 11 games we have 15 points, so just under 50% of the total available if we keep that average up over 33 games we will claim a top 6 finish. mio
3 wins - 3 draws and 1 defeat i still see us in the top 6 come new year
texanwellfan
I think our biggest (only real) mistake in the league so far was getting beat at home by Falkirk. Yes, we threw away points in a few games but probably we should have been looking to take 3 points from them at Fir Park.
joewarkfanclub
I think 10 pts is decent. 12 is achievable. 15 would be a phenomenal return and take us very close to safety.
wellfan
11 points seems realistic.

Generally around 45/50 and our current return in points if maintained wouldn't have us far away from that

If we maintain our current level of points per game we'd be on 45 points at the split that's a baw hair away from the points needed to be to 6. That would be a terrific outcome considering the huge transformational changes the club and the manager are trying to achieve.
Orinoco
we are doing fine. We just need to concentrate on one game at a time and see where it gets us. Killie on that awful pitch is going to be hard.

Kilmarnock are really quite poor but you are correct this will not be an easy game , our record over the last few years down there is not great. Might be wrong but think we've only won once down there in 6 years.

wellsince75
If there was ever a team I'd love to see us giving a damn good thrashing it would be a Kettlewell team. Be great to see a win for football over the we must win the right before we can go up the park and have a shot. Like others have mentioned +10 points from this run of games would be great.
