Thought that was poor - lacked energy and some of our forward play a bit pedestrian .

would have liked to give Nicholson some game time - needed more creativity

Yep, fair description I think.  Lack of energy and although possession was 60/40 in our favour we never looked to be controlling the game. Not helping our quest for top 3 but Still, clean sheet, gained a point on Falkirk, still 6 ahead of Hibs.

Poor stuff overall. We were unlucky with the offside VAR call even though it was technically correct but it’s that jobsworth nonsense that’s ruining football. After that we weren’t nearly good enough up front or going forward and didn’t deserve any more than we got. Maswanhise has regressed badly over the past month or so…believing his own hype? Just hitting a natural slump? Who knows? But he’s been way below the standard he set from November to early February.

4th is still ours to lose I reckon but we are less comfortable than we were before today now. We need to beat Falkirk at home as we will get nothing at Tynecastle in the final pre-split game.

As damp squibs go that was sodden. One of the least enjoyable games of the season for me. Apart from what looked like a good goal I didn’t think we created anything and looked toothless in the final third. A point and a clean sheet right enough… can’t cry too hard

We could have played another 90 and still not scored today. The same goes for Hibs tbf. JT's really struggling to get involved at the minute. Could be a drop in form or teams giving him some closer attention on the pitch? Pleased with a draw and a clean sheet after the last two defeats. Priestman was the one that stood out for me today. He was everywhere and I felt for him when he went off.

Too slow, too predictable,a bit of a nothingness game, trying to walk the ball into the goal, before tj goal spree we were toothless up front, normal service resumed, the big guy up front doesnt suit the short passes in front of goal and the jury is still out wether hes good enough at this level, overall too powder puff.

Just in the door and that was the worst we have looked this season not even close. The passing was woeful wrong desicons for majority of the game and the passing in the final third was nil and void.My big frustration from today was multiple subs should have happened around the 60th minute as we were not doing anything.

Point better than nothing and a clean sheet however we shall need to pick it up a tad to get this fourth place finish.

1 more game ticked off the schedule is all that game was. If we get into the split 6 points ahead of Hibs we should have enough for 4th. Maswanhise really should score the chance he got cut back to him on the penalty spot.

With them to face at Easter Road I think we need 8/9 ahead at the split to be sure. They've got Kilmarnock and Aberdeen and we have Falkirk and Hearts. I suspect the gap will be less than 6  going into the split.

Pretty poor overall.

Thought we defended well for most of the game but didn't quite have enough once we crossed the halfway line.

Moved the ball too slow and guy on the ball had a lack of options too often.

Hibs seemed to be playing not to lose first and foremost and maybe hope something broke their way.

Sparrow just doesn't convince me and O'Donnell slotting in for Longelo is filling a position and nothing more.

With no Longelo, Just playing up front and Said not selected there was no one running with the ball from midfield and the whole team was far too static.

Askou tried something different today but it didn't work and hopefully goes in the bin after today.

We've been getting 40-50 touches in the box this season and today it was 14.  Pretty much sums it up.

Not great at all, but if that was Hibs chasing us down, we'll be fine.

If I was a hibee I'd be hacked off with that, they have to claw back 6 points and settled for a draw , time wasting also...wtf is that about ?

Top 3 is way beyond us but in fairness it was never on.  I'd say 4th spot is now 50/50. We'll go into the break maybe 2 points above Hibs.

Agreed. I think though that our starting line up was a bit cautious but it could be argued that it did its job as we shut out Hibs.

First thing.....still 6pts ahead of game plus superior goals difference so no damage done.

For all possession we had only 2 shots on target and a great defensive headed clearance from said! 🤪

Watt the poorest I have seen and Maswanhise contributed little, believing own hype but that is scottish media for you.

I thought Jens far too slow bringing subs on but hey would have been more worrying if lost today.

Great crowd but atmosphere flat but that was due to team not giving much to get excited about.

We were weak in both full back positions today with no surging runs. Longelo was a huge miss. Likewise, Sparrow doesn't convince me at FB.

Agree re the fullbacks being missed .

We had too many players going through the middle . Watt , Pritestman and fadginer is one too many .

I also think teams have sussed how to play against us - we’re not able to play through the lines like we did a month or so ago .

we will need to adapt and ideally get some of the injured players back .
