texanwellfan
To clarify, he is no longer registered with Rangers, he is a Wycombe Wanderers player? Right? AI was prattling on about him not being able to play against Rangers but I’m thinking it should be renamed ALOI (artificial lack of intelligence)
wellfan
I struggle to understand how, two years into Stama’s time with us, some people still think he just needs more time or that there’s a player in there at our level.

He's a penalty box striker all right , its just the ball never seems to be within range of him when he's in the box. He should be claiming PIP he's injured that often. With all the out of date, and just wrong, information on the internet it's often wide of the mark. If you can be bothered, you can tell it when it's wrong to help retrain it.

Whenever the ball’s gone into the box, he’s either been caught on his heels, been a step behind it, or fluffed his lines when he has got on the end of it. The only thing he’s really done in the penalty box is score penalties.

joewarkfanclub
Was listening to Sportsound earlier and Andy Halliday was on talking about Alex Lowry. Used to drive him to Tynecastle every day when he was on loan at Hearts so knows him very well. His opinion was that he is a very talented player who should be playing at a higher level, but this is last chance saloon for him. Very good in possession and going forward but needs to accept and take on board the need to work back off the ball to help out the team. Basically said he has told Lowry this, so isnt speaking out of turn, and that every manager he has had cant be wrong about him. Hopefully the boy takes this on board and we see the best of him. If not, he might be back to Wycombe quicker than he thinks.
Happyhonest
Still think we need 4 signings one cb two midfielders and a striker. Takes into account McGhee o,donnell and McGinn are injured. And we are likely to lose TJ and stama up front with slats just and watt gone.

A couple of which I’d expect to be exciting attacking options with moneyball potential. An experienced head along the lines of Spencer would also be welcome. johnstone
Heard a wee rumour us and Hibs are looking at Lyndon Dykes. Might be nonsense, but just wondering if anyone else heard anything?

Hope we give it a miss.

I hope not as in the last 2 seasons Ive almost scored as many goals as him and i dont play football 😜 His wages demands would be mental for what he gives in return imo
weeyin
I read today that Charlton Athletic looks to be the most likely destination for Dykes. I certainly don't fancy him at Fir Park.

If the guy lives up to his potential, great for both parties. If he lives up to the problematic reputation he seems to have gathered, bye bye. Orinoco
We only appear to sign footballers now. Dykes is anything but.

Orinoco
Think Lowrys contract runs to 2027 with Wycombe. So i guess loaning him allows him to keep getting the big wages. I presume we will pay our maximum and wycombe the balance. Win win for everyone. Hopefully he knuckles down and grafts whilst showcasing his skills. Is that not what The Rangers do whilst spending millions. We will pluck a reserve from somewhere and pay next to nothing....
