I've been critical of Steve McLean in the past but thought he withstood the pressure to give Hearts their penalty admirably

Agreed. Fair play to him for having the spine to stick to his own decision.

A good point for us. Hearts were pretty dominant in terms of possession for about an hour but carved out very little. Sometimes that's the way it goes, we were in the trenches at times and defended like warriors. Well done to Gordon who I thought was brilliant despite his lack of game time.

Gordon brilliant !

naw only slightly better than his normal shite

back to st j next season with hendry 👍

Wow! Tough crowd!

Thoroughly enjoyed the game tonight. Big crowd, great atmosphere, end to end stuff and thought we were well worthy of our point.

Not the best football we have played this season, but that was mostly due to Hearts not allowing us to by going man for man and pressing us hard all over the park.

They forced us into playing the type of game they wanted to play, but we stood up to it and battled hard for our point.

Overall, pretty pleased with our nights work. Would have been nice to have won but that point could be very important.

Looking forward to Wednesday. Hopefully McGinn is fit and Fadinger is back.

Thought draw was right result, atmosphere bouncing and 7800 well fans there which is awesome.  SOD immense tonight and we missed Fadinger.     Maybe being controversial but I feel Ward could have done better for goal but 4th almost certain now

now now grizz i wouldnt like to go to ER

Needing anything except beach balls ⛱️⛱️☀️☀️

I seen someone use the word ‘absorbing’ elsewhere and that perfectly describes last night for me. What a treat this season has been with the general quality and tempo of football, complemented by electric atmospheres.

We may have been under par in possession last night and more broadly, getting a little unstuck with our no.9 options in the last two months, but we coped admirably well with a Hearts team that threw the kitchen sink at us.

SoDs our motm by a distance and huge credit to Gordon for being so solid. It’s no coincidence though that we aren’t as effective on the ball with McGinn and Fadinger missing.

One more memorable night at Fir Park required before we inevitably say farewell to key members of this very special group.
