wellfan Posted yesterday at 06:42 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 06:42 PM Two things from today’s update that stood out for me: Hendry “overloaded” again. He’s barely played. A signing that just hasn’t worked out unfortunately. JBA the comedian: “Stephen’s [O’Donnell] back jammed up a little. He had to come off, but he managed to bend forward and sign a new deal with us. The back didn’t stop him, and he’s back in training.” https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2026/01/15/scottish-cup-team-news/

Whilst I don't know for certain, this sounds as though he has some kind of underlying problem. Agree he just hasn't worked out.

Kmcalpin Posted yesterday at 08:45 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 08:45 PM Dylan Wells has resurfaced and has been sent out on loan to Stirling Albion for the rest of the season. Good luck to the lad.
joewarkfanclub Posted yesterday at 09:07 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:07 PM Whilst Im happy to accept that Stama hasnt worked out and is probably on his way out the door, I think, of the two, Hendry is the more disappointing signing. He has plenty of physical attributes, but his body language at times betrays him. Possibly because his body just isnt right and he has been struggling, but nonetheless, he hasnt brought any more to the party than Stama. Hopefully he can get himself right and contribute more, but at the moment, I dont see him as more than a back up......

Hendry cost us bugger all.

weeyin
It would be great if every signing worked out. It would also make us the only club in the history of football where that happened, but it would be great.

Yes he has a psv licence and is in charge of the team bus. His best position to be fair.

It's pretty clear which is better.
Orinoco
Sheffield wed fans confident he wont leave. Even Bannon stated a while back he would not leave. Of course things change. Replacement for Watt? Tho you would think we would be looking for technical and mobile midfield players alot younger than him. Allowing us to develop and sell on. We have experience in McGinn Odonnell and Halliday.
