When he plays well he's a real asset. The problem is we only see it once in a blue moon. For me, that was probably his best game since he returned from utd.

I agree with you for the most part. However, there's been no lack of effort from him all season and his patchy form is probably more due to him not getting many minutes, formations leaving him isolated and teammates not being on the same wavelength. I'd be open to the idea of him staying with us if he fits into our budget.

Ye I agree that Watt was great on Saturday but how many times have we seen that since he signed on loan? We could give him a contract and effort could then drop again.   If he plays like that next 4 games then my opinion might change

But still more than our other centre forwards this season.

That only highlights just how bad our forwards are rather than watt doing anything that's worth keeping him.

Watt seems to fit Wimmer's style pretty well.

Whether he can be arsed to play like that every week, however, is the question.

I think most people will agree he’s a good player, I think he seems a decent enough guy as well albeit an absolute moon man.

as mentioned tho it all depends on how we play him. If you Stick him up front himself you’d be as well with me up there.

On Lennon, I do not believe his value will be influenced either way by his recent displays for us or by any awards he might receive.

The sort of clubs that can afford the fee we will be asking for tend to look deeper than the surface. How he performs for a struggling Motherwell side, or whether he picks up an award in Scotland, will not concern them in the slightest.

Their interest will be driven by data and detailed analysis. They will be far more focused on whether he has the potential to progress with better facilities, different coaching, and stronger players around him. Those elements are likely to have a far greater impact on his valuation than anything else.

I certainly fit the signing criteria, ageing badly, immobile with bad knees. I’m a shoe in to get signed.

And we know it will go to one of the OF nominees.

Aye that's my view as well, McGregor for player of the year and Engels for the young players,. Rangers only got Igamane nominated to keep them sweet no chance he'll win though.

Not been announced yet. He is one of the 4 finalists

That was the pfa awards that announced him as a finalist, he did win the spfl young player of the year which is a different award. I think

Ignore me, I'm talking garbage sorry

James Wilson of Hearts willl take some beating. He ticks a lot of boxes. Thats assuming he's been nominated.

I agree and if we are being honest Lennon Millers form has suffered by the utter dross surrounding him and the brutal tactics employed by SK. I think LM is a generational talent but if we judge purely on performances over the season I don't think he tops the list.

Lennons form has definitely dropped off since coming back from injury, between that and being a young player in his first full season,it was almost inevitable that he would dip at some point this season.kettlewell making him captain was mental that just added more unnecessary pressure on him.hes a class act though and it will be interesting too see what happens with him over the summer.

Yep I think sometimes we forget he is only 18. We expect so much from him

Based on?

Iv no idea if he's a good guy or otherwise but the massive list of clubs he's been at - and been shifted on- suggests otherwise.

Pretty sure he got a name at dundee united for being a bad influence in the dressing room

I think Tony Watt should get another season at least

Not suggesting he has been great at all, Saturday he was. Andy Halliday also. Definitely another season in there

We need fresh faces, but I definitely think we should be keeping some experience also

Nice article on Miller in The Herald. (You can read it in an Incognito Window in Chrome, or Private Window in Firefox).

Despite the fake outrage from some media outlets, it's obvious his senior team mates knew the score and what it's like to be stitched up if you misspeak.

Although it didn't prevent them dishing out the appropriate level of stick.

Also interesting to read about how interested he was in McTominay and Glimour playing overseas.

I can imagine a few folk unhappy but I am happy to see Halliday sign another deal. I think he is underrated and remember he probably played more games due to injuries. Is a good experienced pro to have on board.

Ward makes sense as we will need back up for Ox
