This will be a tough one. We'll not be allowed to play. A strong ref will be required. But if this is to be a good season then we should get something from this one. Probably another score draw.

Traditional Scottish anti-football incoming!! Robinson will have our midfield 3 booted all over the shop, hopefully we can play around them but I fear it could be frustrating.
Askou-ball all the way!!!

Robbo will have them out to kick lumps out of us. If we move the ball quickly enough to bypass that, we should be fine.

That was my thoughts, I liked Robbo but if he was watching our game yesterday,  he's going to go uber physical , just hope we don't start picking up injuries

You wonder how the likes of Just, Stama , Slattery, Watt etc will cope with a kicking match.

Total football Vs Anti-football.

Probably a good test for the team to play against such a strong, physical team. If they can get the ball moving through them effectively we could hammer them. If they can’t I can see McGinn/Gordon getting exposed badly.

unfortunately I’m getting dragged to this Glasgow Food Festival on Saturday so I’m hoping for mega rain to bail me out of that.

2-0 Well

Different challenge. But Im all aboard the JBA hype train.

Lets do this! 🧡❤️🧡

This is a real bell weather game for me. St Mirren at Paisley has become a bloody hard slog in recent seasons. They are extremely physical and have signed an awful lot of new players. The will man mark us and boot everything that moves.

It's a bit early in the season for a bell weather game. I'd say the time for that is in the second round of fixtures once JBA has experienced the full range of tactics and plastic pitches and opponents have experienced our tactics.

It will be a good test of the new approach, though.

I was going to say Stama to score a brace 🤪🤪

Maybe a brace on his wrist!!

kidding aside, I think Stama will start scoring for us.  He just lacks a bit of sharpness which, hopefully, will come sooner than later. He’s getting in the right positions and we are starting to give him better service. The goals will start to come. Having said that, plus if Sule has long term injury, we will need another striker for cover or different style. Likewise we still need cover for midfield and defence.

Watching the st mirren v Celtic game and it’s awful. St mirren are just like last year, big and horrible playing hoofball and Celtic look poor and out of sorts.

i think the league is ours this year 🤣

I agree Mio, nothing to fear from these two teams

Having watched the Falkirk v Dundee Utd game earlier, they both looked pretty average too.

Early days for everyone, of course.

Yip this one has draw and a shitfest battle written all over it.

1-1 with an unlikely scorer ie. Gordon or SO’D
