It's boot on boot, a bit high, above the ankle, contact on the shin, reckless, but since he didn't break his leg, it's probably an orange card - though without the context (we know), every referee would give a red card. Thanks for clearing that up, Willy.

The March review shows mjust how big a problem refereeing/VAR actually is. Totally inconsistent.

I don't get the comment about Callum Slattery. Are they looking at footage from the St Mirren game? If so, thats downright ridiculous.  If we're going to review decisions from a month ago how far back do they go? If so, that should open the floodgates.

Only got round to watching this last night as there was hee haw on the tv.

Im acually raging about the tackle on Just by Oxlade - Chamberlain now.

Never thought too much of it at the time and felt a yellow was probably about right, but when you see the pictures that were available to VAR and the intitial point of contact, I just cant fathom how they dont think thats a red card. Especially when Beaton tells them he has a mark on his shin!

Least said about the Gordon red card the better.

Totally pointless exercise now as they are just using the review to justify decisions and save face, rather than admit mistakes and actually improve the standard of officiating.

Spot on, Gollum actually says on the video re the Just tackle, "if the referee had shown a straight red card to the Celtic player Var would not have overturned it"  ffs the whole set up is a corrupt, incompetent shambles.
