To be fair, I'm not sure what percentage of that is "if the opposition don't have the ball, they can't score". Not that I'm complaining about that approach... Not that I'm complaining about that approach... We were spewing goals earlier this season and failing to close out games when we were up around 70% possession. Keeping the ball helps, but there have been huge improvements in our shape off the ball, decision making in defence and sticking to the plan when we are protecting a lead.
