If JBA is going to leave, then I'd prefer that he did so now. That gives us time to source a replacement in time for the new season starting. Surely they’ve thought we need to sort out a contingency plan. As mentioned though, we pretty much knew it would come. Might as well get it sorted out early as possible. Move to Toulouse or commit to Motherwell. However, perhaps he wants better offer than Toulouse and decide to stay here one more season. I know, ever the optimist! I hope the board might go above and beyond normal to keep Jens here 1 more season to give it our best shot in Europe. We only have 9 weeks till our first leg tie. Hopefully the board can tempt him to stay with improved contract and transfer funds but realistically we can't compete with a club like toulouse financially. He was nowhere near the dressing room in the 10-15 mins leading up to kick off. He was at the dugout gabbing to the mascots parents and the photographers. Rumours that the salary on offer at Toulouse is £1 million per year. If that’s true then he’d be foolish not to want to go there.
