The Asst VAR questioned if it was a clear handball also.

Its similar to the Just tackle at Parkhead where VAR is giving leading statements and when the ref raises concerns to them, they are batted down.

I switched off when Collum referred to the Motherwell shirt as ‘yellow’ in the Longelo incident - sums up how in touch he is with Scottish football. The VAR review is not a show I tend to watch but even in 10 minutes of viewing, you can tell an explanation has been concocted to align with the VAR decision.

Dallas being so quick and definitive to call handball from limited angles in the 95th minute of a title deciding game will never sit right with me. The more you hear from the SFA unfortunately, the more it smells.

Beaton checked fuck all at that screen. Dallas told him what to award. A clear case of VAR  refereeing the game.

Yes, it was down to Andrew Dallas. He was very assertive and definitive In his comments to John Beaton, despite the fact that the images he was looking at were far from conclusive. A classic case of rerefereeing. That said, John Beaton should not have caved in.

So suspended punishment of a reduction of 100 tickets for Celtic which lasts until 30th June 2027 and a £2500 fine.

And the same fine for us with a suspended closure of Block E for the same timescale.

And five of our fans and five Celtic fans referred to the SPFL Trusts pyrotechnics awareness course.

So there you have it, a slap on the wrist for Celtic and us lumped in with them to dilute the blame. That’s not to say that ‘Block E’ are blameless and indeed they gave the authorities the open goal they needed to drag us into what happened, but this non punishment for the true culprits is as predictable as it is laughable.

Of course but that would indicate that they recognise Celtic and their fans as being more culpable than anyone else for this type of behaviour.

But that is never going to happen in 2026 where Scottish football is run by Celtic, for Celtic.

And the Daily Record headline on this subject is “Motherwell and Hamilton Accies fined and reprimanded by SPFL amid pyro use and pitch invasions” and that is the main story of the article with the fact that Celtic were also involved and hit with similar sounding like a mere side story.

We all saw what happened but that is how it is reported.

Anyone who seriously doubts the influence and clout that Celtic have over football, the media and more in this country these days needs to wake up.

For the pyros etc can understand why we’d be punished .

the pitch invasion post end of game at FP is one thing . The final day of season was utterly disgraceful , as has been Celtics reaction and now the governing body .

You get the sense that the tide could turn against Celtic as it’s no longer just Scottish football watching - the broader broadcasters I think will pick up on this .
