He's not a former player yet 🤣

Might as well be, based on tomorrows likely headlines of "Celtic target Elijah Just scores in the world cup!" Followed by 100 words of AI bollocks then, ...currently plays for Motherwell.

Absolutely - that’s going to push his value up

only downside is how unlikely he is to be at FP next season .

I'd already resigned myself to waving Eli off this summer, and those goals probably make it a certainty. As long as he's not leaving on the 240, good luck to him.

2 very good goals from Just

Pricetag has just went up for sure

Chris Sutton mentioned that in the match commentary " another couple of zero's on his price tag" was the phrase used. 😁

I know we are all sort of half joking with price tags etc but these 2 goals of his and his general performance albeit against Iran, are absolutely huge for him and us.

he’s tied to us for another year so another performance like that from him and the additional spotlight, we will be talking millions. Considering where we got him from it’s utterly incredible.
Clearly I’d love to see him stay but we can’t turn down a £5m bid? Which is a possibility following the WC. I do like how he’s also priced himself out of the old firm budget now so a move to club in a much better league is within reach.
I think he’d do really well in a league like Spain or Portugal

Too good for Celtic this boy,  he is going to bigger and better things

Sutton probably knows this himself

He's linking up really well with Chris Wood - an established English Premier League striker - and not looking at all out of place, so I really do feel that he can cut it at that level.

Don’t want to put a dampener on tthe speculation but is it possible that his contract with us includes a sell on price that allows Eli to decide where he goes if it’s met? Hope not. 🤞

PS He also has a brilliant attitude. When deliberately fouled he just gets up and gets on with the game. And he even accepts offender’s apology without recrimination.

Oh, he'll be taking notes. I have no doubt about that.
