Smart defending will quickly nullify that with strength, positioning and (legal) blocking if the player doesn’t also have good ball control. Seedorf had his moments for us but didn’t really have the skill to back up the pace. And as for taking players from lowly Euro qualifying opposition the two word cautionary tale is Shane Blaney 😉 I actually wonder if Shane Blaney wouldnt have been a good fit for this type of Motherwell side? Injuries aside, he always looked comfortable with the ball at his feet. It was the physicality and defending his box I always felt he struggled with. Not suggesting we go bring him back, but if SOD, McGinn and Koutroumbis can all look good at centre half in this kind of set up, Im sure others could too. robsterwood
When are they going to change that awful twist and shout song after a win. It's a dirge. Not a Beatles fan either but it's rank. Most of younger fans either don't know it or don't like it.

I don’t know if it was sang before but the first time I heard and sang it was at Ibrox after the play off game and the rage of the Rangers fans as we were singing it makes it an all time classic for me.
