Anyone saying that Watt wasn’t crucial for us is kidding themselves. As I said before, he is the only reason we are sitting where we currently are in the table at this stage. Without his goals we would be fighting relegation just now as we have nothing in the way of goal threat in that side of ours.3 points

If we have to rely on Roberts and woolery up front I worry for us3 points

Well I don’t think anyone has actually said that he “has become Mo Salah” but what cannot be disputed is that his goals in the first half of the season were a big factor in us winning the majority of games that we did and why we found ourselves sitting 4th at the winter break. Tonight he was playing against us and we struggled to create anything of note yet he managed to score the goal that killed us off. That is/was our top goalscorer this season scoring the goal tonight that finished us off while we failed to score…you can dress that up any way you want but that is a hammer blow and a half…2 points

Watt was winning every award going for us, long before his goal scoring blip. Fundamentally pish? Utter pish.2 points

Loose and Saturday and it’s time to go Alexander. This is fucking shite. Zero heart, zero entertainment and zero quality. Unfit and disinterested.2 points

Letting watt go was one thing,it was clear alexander wanted him gone but to not replace him was criminal,we are missing him big time, the 100k we got will be meaningless come the end of the season.2 points

What view is that? That a football club has put more emphasis on social media than winning games?1 point

Just listened to another Robbo shitfest, same old excuses, his team have no heart and no fight, everyone of them should hang their heads in shame, the players should be refunding the fans who made the journey to watch that shite.1 point

Im not so sure he wont do a good Job for Utd but I wasnt overly impressed by him tonight. Folk saying he laid on the first goal.. did he fuck he put in a bog standard cross that our defender headed clear and as luck would have it landed straight at Utd players feet and a great strike put it in our net. His goal I could have scored with piss poor defending, christ knows how he got man of the match.1 point

Their passing and first touch were utterly shocking. Bevis played well in the 1st half , second half he was wearing coco the clowns shoes.1 point

Anyone looking at the game stats would wonder what the hell we are all going on about. However I hope the manager doesn’t look at the stats and tell us how unlucky we were. The point to take away from the stats is that we can’t score against a team the is possibly as abysmal as we are. Another game where Kelly has no saves to make and we get beat. Other teams around us are also pish but right now we appear to be outpishing them all.1 point

Not spending any of the banked £3million to leave Watt playing with the juniors for the rest of the season is seeming like the wrong call at this stage. He’s absolutely done our club a kipper and we’ve bent over and taken it without so much as a whimper.1 point

Spot on,he would graft his balls off every game as well, setting the tone for others round about him, there's to many going through the motions right now and in need of a serious boot up the arse.1 point

Midfield has been poor all season but before the split we looked reasonably solid and had watt as our main goal threat,it wasnt pretty at times but it was effective, were now a shambles at the back and have zero threat up front.if you don't score goals, you don't win games and we now have the problem where it looks like all it will take is one goal and were beaten.1 point

I’d settle for 10th in the league right now, this team is up there with the worst I’ve ever seen in a Motherwell shirt…..and I’ve seen a few.1 point

We are all over the place. I don’t think any of the players know what they are supposed to be doing.1 point

Has Jim Gannon grown a beard and started shopping in All Saints?1 point

I agree, getting in the right replacement for watt was always going to be tough in January but to strengthen a direct rival by giving them arguably our best player for a 100k was a massive gamble that is going to backfire on us.if we couldn't get a suitable replacement we should have kept him,we are the only losers in the watt deal.1 point

Honestly just take Efford off, looks a downgrade on Woolery which is saying something on recent form.1 point

Woolery!!!!! He touched ball and mis-controlled it from kick off for 2nd half against Celtic I timed it and it was 70th minute before he touched the ball again, and that was just a touch. I know Van Veen was poor but at least he touched the ball occasionally.1 point

Liam Donnelly starts again. Alexander is trying to get sacked. There is no other explanation.1 point

Posted twice for some reason, but since I'm here, I think we could see Goss drop out too.1 point

I think it is a bit of both also I dont think attendances would go up by too much as there are people genuinely scunnered with both these mobs, and avoid the game when either are in town At the same time though if we were to give them a game on a more regular basis similar to the 1990s/2000s instead of some of the drubbings we have seen in recent seasons it might encourage a few more to go back1 point

I try to go to every home game but recently I have avoided the visits of The Cheeks. I hate being in the same ground (and streets) with them and having to put up with their snash but the main reason I suppose is that we seem have given up the ghost before we get on the pitch and I can't take the humiliation at my age: I have memories of much better performances and results. It seems an age ago that the likes of Higdon and Ojamaa could stick it to them good and proper.1 point

I believe Celtic players and staff are also given some complimentary tickets for the POD Stand.1 point

Is this GA dressing room tactics and team talk before kick off1 point

I agree. Especially as he was hung out to dry. Expected to cover all across the back line, even to the extent of right back. And when Celtic were rampaging down the left he received no help whatsoever from Goss, Donnelly and Carroll who spent more time playing hide and seek than tracking back. He did make a few mistakes, but at least he was willing to get involved and never hid. The others mentioned would do well to look at the way the youngsters applied themselves. What got me was not the defeat, but the manner of it. One poster said the players were no less committed than they were in the previous matches. Not so. Against St Mirren and County all the players put in the effort., even if the end results were poor. Sunday was just depressing.1 point

Our recent record against United is poor. Doubt if that will change but here's hoping.0 points
