That’s true but we need the bodies.  We need the skill.  We have some money and if these players are similar to Just and we sell them again for 6 million happy days.  Agree that there are other ways to skin a cat as the saying goes but if we are playing the same way as JBA then a Just-like figure is of benefit even as depth in the squad if Lowry is the replacement.   It’s also good as a talking point while we hopefully get the next few players in the door.  😜

Another centre half would be good. Mcginn not back for a while and now 35,

I have grave doubts if we'll see much more of Paul McGinn unfortunately. By the time he recovers we'll have an established of younger first pick centre backs. A shame.

Great back up to have though.

As long as he can still move after his injury.

I had hopes that Thor would be an asset but he seems injury-prone and I'm not sure our new manager has confidence in him. He was a strange choice anyway because Askou was not a  simple "sling into the box for the big guy" kind of manager.

When he played only a couple of games at the start he set up a couple and scored one , if I recall correctly. He is exactly what we need now to complete moves in the box for a big guy he looked quite mobile. On the injury front was he injured at all for his previous team .

I’m not big on stats but purely on the genk and HB games, we flung in more crosses into the box in those two games than we did for half of last season. I’d have thought big Thor would be perfect for this type of stuff.

I have nothing to go on but why do you think the new manager has no confidence in Thor?  Obviously he hasn’t played because he is injured do you think there are other reasons?
