weeyin
Beat Hearts and beat Celtic in our remaining home games, then having already seen off Rangers, nobody can accuse us of playing favourites.
mio
Anyone know why we can’t buy tickets online for the hearts game? I’ve logged in to get a ticket for my son and it says “Tickets are not yet available”?
parko66
Haven't been able to buy tickets for the Hearts game either - I'm no longer a ST holder (was for 30 years), and have purchased tickets using the new system before. Are tickets only available to ST holders? I get the following message " This event is not yet available to you Unfortunately, you don't have the correct permissions on your account to purchase this event." However, could it be to mitigate Hearts fans getting home tickets? I suspect more than 4,500 will be planning to head through.

I wondered if that was the case, but it says you can buy them online and there's nothing to say you have to pick up physical tickets at Fir Park, as with Old Firm games. Poor stuff when you're trying to encourage folk to come to games.

IF the problem is down to IT issues, then the club could have put out a short and simple statement to that effect, and yes, I know it was the holiday weekend for some.

I haven't had a season ticket for a good few years because of my job, but I've been to more games this season than I have for a long time. Buying online hasn't been too much of an issue, but it has been a bit wonky at times. I somehow managed to get a ticket for Parkhead before they closed that loophole. Lucky for me, but annoying if you're a ST holder. And I know there's an ongoing problem for folk with linked accounts trying to buy multiple tickets for away games. I picked up our Hearts tickets at the office as soon as they went on sale, along with one for the Celtic game, but I noticed the ST only message on the official site at least a week ago. As you say, a wee message to clarify things surely wouldn't be too difficult, and they should be pulling out all the stops to get people back to Fir Park while the demand is there. parko66
I called the ticket office this morning - so the Hearts tickets are not available online (and for the Celtic game also) - purchased 2 no problem over the phone and received the tickets via email.

I was the same. But what was the difference from logging in with your account number?

That’s what I’m hoping. If we can get thru these 2 games without getting beat, it will be a pretty impressive home record for this season. Plus, of course, beating Hearts would secure 4th place finish, due to our GD being so good. FYI game is live on paramount + in the states
Kmcalpin
The club is currently on the crest of a wave; attendances are well up and season ticket sales are booming. Presumably then, the club will also want to stimulate more home end ticket sales for next season. So why are these ticketing problems emerging now? Understandably it could dissuade some Well fans and potential ones from attending. I get that MFC is concerned that some Hearts fans and certainly Celtic ones might snap up home end tickets for the upcoming games. So, some safeguards will be justified. Hows about this for a suggestion. A statement be issued on social media and on the Official site that away fans will, respectfully, not be allowed to buy tickets in the home end. Our season ticket holders and PATG fans should be required to sit in their allocated seats for these 2 games. No exceptions. If any away fans are found to be occupying "home" seats then they will be ejected and those seat numbers will be recorded and the owners/purchasers contacted afterwards. I'll state the necessary caveat that the Police may not be happy with this draconian line.
