FirParkCornerExile
Right now wish I hadn't got a ticket but that will change by Saturday. Right now Id bite your hand off for a point considering we follow up with Celtic and Hearts.
joewarkfanclub
Lots of hard talking required between now and Saturday. We need to be much more structured and disciplined to allow us to play our football from a solid base. We also need to be running harder than the opposition, particularly when we lose the ball, to win it back. Do these things and we can win on Saturday. Dont do them, and we could be on the end of another loss.

MJC
3-0 home win. We are ineffective and the ball is burst. Last night was not a blip it was a sign of things to come.
wellfan
Unless the manager sorts out the starting XI and gets the team playing with some sort of coherent tactical plan, I expect more of what we saw against Rangers and Aberdeen. The plan seems to be to retain possession, which is fine and what we want, but beyond that I can see zero effective attacking plan, loads of possession with no end product, weakness in the turnovers, a pathetic press, and a complete lack of ability as a team to win and compete for second balls. The complete opposite of last season. It does make me wonder what he spent the 10 days between those two games drilling into them.

We did well enough in the European games, the HJK home game was a highlight. Hibs away wasn’t great but a massive win and a brilliant move to clinch it. Dundee Utd at home was a very good performance, our best of the season albeit we were playing against ten men from an early stage. Falkirk 0-0 was insipid and dismal, St.Mirren away was a capitulation after a good start and only a great goal at the death saved our blushes. Rangers at Ibrox was a pumping in everything but name. And last night v Aberdeen was a pumping, in both name and in the way we performed. I know people will point to them only having x amount of efforts on goal but I saw nothing from us that was in any way effective whereas Aberdeen were. mio
It’s the most important game we’ve had in a while, we really need a reaction after that horror last night. last season after the St Mirren game we were pretty shell shocked and scrambled a 1-1 at Aberdeen the week after before we found our feet again. Dundee are decent but a bit erratic in their performances. As much as I think we could win this, I think I’d settle for a draw. A clean sheet preferably
Orinoco
Going to be a tough game and a draw would not be the worst result.

I always love the analysis that consists of downplaying the wins and positives, but absolutely playing up the losses and negatives. Can't beat it.

I think he has something to offer more than PH. I’d maybe also shift SODs and JKL my concern with Alfred is he’s potentially blinkered a bit by Sparrow’s effort v ability
texanwellfan
Thor or PH up front, either one is worth a try although I think PH is a bit more mobile as first line of defense when we loose the ball but if we are going to throw crosses in perhaps Thor is the better choice there? I’d also be fine with Levitt instead of hodge

wellup83
O'Donnell has surely got to start at the weekend. We need a stable 'old head' at the back to keep things organised. Also, I'm not sure what condition he'll be in but when's Mcginn back?

There's a worrying lack of experience in the team and we're short of a right back. SOD's best days RB days may be over but surely he's a better option than Sparrow there? Our defence in the league this season has been poor and we need to shake things up in that department. Paul McGinn. At best months, but will he make the first team again? johnny71
Was really in two minds about getting a ticket, then I simmered down and bought one ,then I checked the weather today for the weekend and it's to be 45 mph winds in Dundee on Saturday,so now I'm back to wishing I hadn't bought a ticket again,I really don't know how this one will pan out 😂🌬️🤷♂️

That said i would be starting Sod, Bjorgolffson, palmer Houlden and Said as we need to have more of a threat up top and some experience at the back, after Tuesday nights shambles.
