SFA need to get some outside help to improve our officiating (on field and VAR) the monthly VAR review should be renamed what it actually is

pretty damning reflection on our standard of officials when we have zero representation at the World Cup. 😳

if we have already Solicited help from another country then we are Fkd. 
 

just to add that I am trying to be objective in my views, I still don’t know how Hearts didnt get a penalty for Longelo’s “arm” ball in our box.

Also i want to add at this stage they can show any stills they want  the key to it all its not 100 percent conclusive in anyone of them so Beaton and co gave that penalty on the grounds it looks like or might be.

Every club needs to take every opportunity to call out this nonsense Dave as and when it happens, sitting back and complaining about Var, poor referees, perceived bias etc, etc but doing nothing about it, will change nothing.

The SFA sre shit scared to upset either of the ugly sisters, as are the Scottish football media so change wont happen overnight, but it has to start somewhere.

Hibs last minute winner means we need to go to Easter Road and get something. Given we have won 1 and drawn 2 against them this season and now have an injustice to fire the belly, we should embrace that situation.

Re last nights game. I really despair about any Motherwell fan who watched that last night and is anything other than proud of our performance.

Many Motherwell teams in the past have utterly capitulated to Celtic. But we went toe to toe with them for 90 minutes and were the better team by every metric, other than the one that actually counts.

It was a great performance and, but for a bit more quality/composure in the final third, we might have won that game.

There is a real feel good factor about Fir Park right now. Three stands up singing and bouncing in a game against one of the ugly sisters is a rare thing indeed.

Finally, to address the issue of our record against the top 6. It is true that we have only won 3 out of 19. But we have also drawn 8. So in 11/19 games the top 6 couldnt beat us either and of the games we did lose only Hearts beat us by more than 1 goal and our performances have been more than decent.

We should embrace these times and use the injustice we all feel about the season as a whole to fuel us going forward.

Still f**king beeling after last night. I've usually calmed down the day after a bad decision, but not this time. Strange since it doesnt affect what we need to do on saturday, but ruins what would have been a fantastic night for us and scottish football in general.

I've never been one for accusing scottish officials of corruption. Bias, incompetence and social pressure influencing decisions in favour of the bigger teams, yes. But not corruption.

Last nights VAR decision, there is no defence. Corruption, clear as day for all to see (except those clowns who choose not to).

Its strange that after the pitch invasion by Celtic fans and their celebation with their club's employees, that no party has been moved to comment. Not MFC, not the Society, not the SPFL or SFA, not the Police and not Celtic FC.  All being swept under the carpet?

Its a sad refelction of events that almost all the widespread discussion has been about matters other than the football.

Lead story on the STV news, the "penalty" desicion from last night, worlwide condemnation, ridicule, worst var judgement ever etc. There was a token celtic fan who said it was a stonewalller, oh and o'Neil says he could not see it clearly.. Twitter full of fake AI images to confirm it was a pen, no doubt Collum will use them in the VAR review.

My guess is the VAR review show will be cancelled.

If Collum says it wasn't a penalty, then he's admitting a terrible decision has impacted the title race, and if he says it was a penalty, he makes himself and the SFA a corrupt looking laughing stock.

Every VAR review ive watched there is at least one descision that Gollum admits was wrong, pen/ no pen, red card/ yellow card etc. So they freely admit they get it wrong, but take no responsibility for their actions, and the is no sign of any changes or improvement.
