All told, its a decent result at a difficult venue. Good to see Jordan McGhee make an appearance, as we'll need him to be fit.  I suspect both teams will be disappointed at dropping points, but it seems that a draw was the right result. it also keeps us well in the hunt for a top 6 slot. Again, failings in the final third cost us, although TJ does the business again.

Currently 9 players out injured.

11 games to the split, we are 12 points ahead of 7th, conceded twice in 14 games.  27 points ahead of 12th

We are joint 1st on goals conceded in the league with a +14 goal difference.

Outfuckingstanding.

Been listening to the Radio, Andy Halliday is a good listen.  Fully on board with what is happening in the club despite not getting to play.   Joked he was 23rd in the pecking order

Take it AP is totally out of the picture. We were crying out for a fresh front man at the end but him and osong stayed in the bench.

I presume JBA has finallly realised that in normal open play Stamatelopoulos offers feck all, his positional play and tactical awareness are brutal, hes never where hes needed, if possible he should be moved on this window.

Osong is pretty much the same, in his limited game time he has offered nothing to suggest here is a player there, for me his loan deal should be ended as its of no value to the club at all.

Really happy to get something from today.

think it was @mio who said he had the fear going into this , i had same feeling . It’s very hard to adjust to expecting not to lose when we haven’t lost many games .

Hibs I thought played decent stuff and looked dangerous , first part of the game they really dominated but we slowly and surely came into it .

The commentators made a decent point that we at times try to find the perfect goal, I tend to agree , we could be a bit more direct and like we all know need more cutting edge in final 3rd

TW took his goal brilliantly , proving to be a great asset .

Overall a very decent point .

good point that

completely different to draws we’ve had this season where we’ve dropped points rather than won a point

commentary on the stream possibly worst I’ve heard this season 😂

The whining was on a par with Dundee Utd.

Wanting Longelo sent off for a 2nd yellow when he hadn't even been booked.

A decent enough game. The quality of our ball in the final 3rd was what stopped us getting 3 points. To slow getting forward to support some great position out wide forcing our players to check back and dither on the ball. Great goal from Manwanhise.  Said off the scale frustrating today, great build up play but caught in possession far to often. We didn't win as many second balls as I would have liked. Longello a shadow of the player we had in first 6/7 games. Just was outstanding as was McGinn. A point a Easter Road is never to be sniffed at.

I know what you mean, but I don't see it as a case of what could have been.

We're 6 months into a radically new approach, and an approach that needs to be learned and worked out during games.

We're miles ahead of where I thought we would be, and picking up points in places I did not expect.

Issue then is will we keep the manager and players like Just. If not the manager then who is the next one and will they be as successful.  I hear Aberdeen are in for Welsh.  Celtic can seemingly do a deal up to the 14th.

Welsh holds most of the options although may not be perfect or wise. Sure Celtic can recall him, they can't force him to sign for Aberdeen or any other team whilst under contract. A contract that is believed to be anything between 6 and 18 months. Can't believe a team with no manager would sign any player that said new manager might not rate. Though Celtic did sign a manager to play a system that he should have known whether they could adapt to it.

Welsh is contracted to celtic until summer 2027

Like above, any club signing Welsh now would need to pay at least what celtic are paying him, or Celtic will need to give him some sort of payoff to make the difference. It's feasible that he'd take a modest pay cut for regular football, but I don't see why he'd do that right now, whether its with us, Aberdeen, or anyone else.

Clubs are increasingly moving the recruitment responsibilities away from the manager, which makes sense since most managers don't even last a season thesedays.  I'm sure players would prefer some kind of managerial stability at the club they are joining, but I'm sure what they're getting paid matters more.

Watched highlights last night and our goal was superb. Poor goal to lose and Sparrow misjudged it but Bowie also had some luck.

Said should have done better with header late on but it's still a very good point against a side that have a lot more financial clout than us.

Fair comment. JT fashioned and took his goal very well. Tom Sparrow's misjudgement was so reminiscent of the kind of goal that Stevie Hammell used to concede. Still an away point at your rival's place is not a bad result.

Anyone else see the bizarre carry on at the end?

Hibs player and Said having a disagreement. Said walks away and Hibs player dived after feeling contact from behind from another Hibs player thinking it was Said.

McGinn seen it, hence him having a go at Hibs player. Referees really need to come down hard on this sort of behavour.

Also see Celtic when they need a little help got away with a shocking tackle early on against Utd.

Youve got to wonder if VAR have been told to keep a lower profile in recent weeks.

I did see Said back-head one of the hibs guys. Was a bit cheeky and could have been pulled up by VAR, unsure if there was much contact though.

Said did move his head although I thought the boy went down holding his groin.
